Work Experience at Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Return to Latest NewsSome of our pupils have the opportunity to take on work experience in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital through Project Choice College as part of their Careers and Work Related Learning.
Laura Kane, the Work Experience Lead at Project Choice College, sent us the photos below and said:
"Michee did nothing but smile when I arrived to see him. Julie said he had been working very hard this morning and felt like she had asked him to do too much because he had been such an amazing help. He packaged and labelled the all the fruit and cheese scones and out these on the counter, refilled the condiments, refilled the fridge and crisps, and cleared and cleaned the tables. In between this he was serving the customers. Michee made me and my colleague a latte and a cup of tea – Julie is currently training him on the coffee machine.
Noah was having a cup of tea and some biscuits when I arrived. He seemed so happy and chatted to me about all the tasks he did last week and about the tasks he was preparing to do this morning. He set the scene for the photos and made sure there wasn’t any confidential information on show. He then began to separate the paperwork into piles so he could begin the scanning process."
